The perpendicular stripe on the hind wings and the smaller size tells you this look-alike is not a Monarch.

"I give up; it's too hot here!"

"Gotta find me some shade..."

"...right over here..."

"Ahhh.  That's bettah."

But when I walked away and went around the house, the poor hot kitty had to faithfully follow me.

Tabby

He's nervous because the sprinklers are on, and he knows he might get sprayed.

Cats don't understand that they should run through when the sprinkler turns and the water isn't hitting them.

Instead, they tiptoe slowly along, carefully creeping through -- and of course the sprinkler comes on around and douses them a good one.  They then fly back the way they came, instead of coming on forward.

Of course, both cats stay out in the rain, even when there's a pouring deluge.  Cats.

He looks sort of like he had surgery, and someone forgot to sew him back up again.
