Yes, the tie rod is bent.
Just look at the angle of the wheels. And yes, the pup is stuck, too.
Larry was able to straighten the tie rod by the time Caleb arrived with the other boom truck to pull him out. It didn't drive too badly on the way home, so he must've gotten it fairly straight. They unhitched the pup, pulled the truck out backwards, and hitched the pup back on. Then Caleb hooked onto the front of Larry's truck, and with both trucks pulling, they got the pup out.
Larry got home at 1:15 a.m.
