Today we drove to Burwell, out in the Nebraska Sandhills, to get a transmission for Larry's pickup. It's a beautiful drive, though we were driving into such a bright sun in the west that it was difficult to get good pictures. After picking up the transmission, we went to Calamus Reservoir and watched the sun set over the waters, which were full of pelicans and other waterbirds.
