I enjoyed seeing the photos of your trip. I'm always curious, though, about the "history" or "story" behind each photo. But, I know it would take at least 3 times longer to label each one.
I had never seen those skinny "windmills" [wind turbines] until I visited my daughter in California. I think it was 2015. I see, in Wikipedia, that even The Netherlands are employing wind turbines now.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures, Ivy! That red round thing on the truck in the 7th picture is part of the base of one of those wind turbines.
DeleteHmmmmm.....I wouldn't have thought their bases would be red. Doesn't fit the profile. LOL!
