This afternoon I drove to Fremont, 45 miles to our east, to meet a friend and fellow quilter at Milady Coffeehouse, which is in a big, nifty, reconstructed warehouse. My friend had a quilt she wanted me to do the quilting on.
That stretch of road to Fremont is surely the flattest in the state. There is nary the slightest rise or hill to break the monotony, but at least there are always plenty of red trucks!
