This afternoon I took my Bernina Artista 730 to Nebraska Quilt Company in Fremont to be serviced. It's 58 miles to the quilt shop. Since it's only another 25 ½ miles to Prairie Meadows, I continued on to Omaha to visit Loren.
Since the new bypass north of North Bend and Ames has opened, this road is nearly empty. Quite a strange sight! It's used to be bumper-to-bumper.
Barn swallow
Fremont Lakes
American robin
Blue vervain
(A colorblind person named it, tsk.)
Trumpet vine
Rawhide Creek

Working on the other two lanes of the new bypass. A good portion of it is done.
