I put together my new shepherd's hooks, and hung the wind spinner on it that my sister Lura Kay gave me. And look! -- it perfectly matches the birdbath!
Next, I fixed Victoria's bamboo wind chimes and hung them on the tall shepherd's hood from which hang the Woodstock 'Chimes of Earth' my sister gave me a few years ago. I suppose I should give them back to Victoria? 😏
Teensy was hiding under the hostas, but popped out when the chipping sparrows started making a fuss when I got too close to their nest.
"Whew, it's bright out here."
"You realize you scared away the birds, don't you?"
"Ah, well; might as well come get some petting..."
There are the stones I put into the birdbath, so the birds have something to stand on when bathing. The dish is quite deep.
Aacckkk, Tiger, what are you DOING?!
"Don't mind me; I'm just passing through."
"After all, it IS a Cat Crossing."
The clematis is showing promising signs...
