Photos: Flowers, Bugs, Birds, Cats, and Sunsets

These were all taken with my 90mm Tamron macro lens on my Canon Rebel T5i camera.

Tiny little bee on clematis

Tiger, stray cat that seems to have adopted us.
Nom nom nom nom nom ...

"Whew, I can't believe I ate the whole thing."

Tiger decides to have another snack...

...while Tabby looks on.

A face on this little apple?

Teensy, who doesn't appreciate Tiger horning in on his property one little bit.

Tiger is biiig.  He's even bigger than Teensy, maybe about 18 pounds.  Teensy is about 14-15 pounds.

Just look at those ears.

He's making sure Tiger isn't sneaking up behind him...

Tiger considers the matter...

I admonished both cats to behave like wellbred felines.  Teensy puts on his 'good-cat' persona.

Tabby comes to see what's happening...

... and maybe to stir things up a little bit.

He takes a few steps... stops suddenly with one front foot suspended...

...takes a couple more steps... stops with the other foot suspended...

... and decides it's safe to continue.  Tabby is a wee little thing in comparison to Teensy and Tiger, barely weighing in at 7 pounds.

And here comes Tabby to see what I'm doing again...

Juvenile house finch siblings -- right on the same perch.

Finch #1 would wait and watch while Finch #2 got a beakful of seeds, cracked and ate them.  Then Finch #2 watched while Finch #1 followed suit.

While we're having a spectacular sunset, there's hail, high winds, pouring rain, and tornados in nearby counties and neighboring states.
