Photos: Trip to Affordable Dentistry in Lincoln

Today we went to Affordable Dentistry in Lincoln, and Larry had all his teeth removed and replaced with dentures.  A difficult day for him.  We hope he is soon feeling much better than he has been, for he's had many abscesses and broken and crumbling teeth.

The first appointment was at 8:00 a.m.  The dentist took impressions of his mouth and teeth.  Then, while the dentures were made, we went to get his prescriptions.  We picked up a gift at Hobby Lobby, a brake light at O'Reilly's, and then headed to Cabela's in Omaha to make use of gift cards the children had given Larry.

It had snowed the day before, and today was overcast and cold.  We saw one truck after another hauling those looong blades for wind generators, heading to wind farms out west somewhere.

Then the fun and games were over, and it was time to go back to the dentist's office.

The surgery took three hours instead of the projected two, because the dentist had a hard time getting out the roots of the broken teeth.  I had the waiting room all to myself.
