This afternoon we drove to Atkinson, Nebraska, about 120 miles to our northwest, out in the Sandhills, to get a couple of UTVs our son Teddy bought. It was dark and overcast, but the setting sun shined through the clouds just enough to make for a pretty sky. We saw a lot of deer and one bald eagle. It was too dark to get photos of the deer.
