Photos: Brailling, and Cat Mats

Yay! I have my customer's quilt boxed and ready to ship; I finished tucking pretty bookmarks into the Christmas cards (120 of them) that we'll dole out to our fellow church members; I Brailled Bible verses and greetings on Christmas cards for my three blind friends; and I wrapped the last of the presents for our family. And Larry got home safe and sound from a looong two-day trip first to Branson, Missouri, then all the way back west to Rolla, Kansas, a town in the southwestern corner of the state, and then home again (we live a few miles west of Columbus, Nebraska) – 1,484 miles.

He picked up a snow blade, a mower, and other equipment.
It was 489 miles from here to Branson, 535 miles from Branson to Rolla, and 460 miles from Rolla home again. Larry has had just 7 hours of sleep since Thursday morning.

Earlier this evening, I trimmed off some matted fur on Tiger’s rump. He just went outside, came back in, marched up to Larry, and squalled at the top of his lungs in his loud, gravelly voice, whilst simultaneously rolling his golden eyes in my direction. He was obviously informing Larry that there’s an odd spot on his behinder that nearly froze to death while he was out there (it’s 24°), and, additionally, that it’s my fault. 😆
