Today I took three quilts to the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island. Next, I dropped off my Bernina 1300DC serger to be serviced (it's quite locked up, probably from lack of use). There was a pond near the store that was absolutely jampacked with waterfowl, but there was no place to stop and take pictures. I stopped at Eagle Scout Lake, renowned for its abundance of waterfowl -- and found there one white goose. O.n.e...g.o.o.s.e. It was a white-morph Ross's Goose (Anser rossii). While there were next to no waterfowl, there was no lack of red trucks!
