This afternoon we drove to Omaha to visit Loren.
Irrigation pivot upended and twisted by strong winds or perhaps a twister.
Houses in Elkhorn demolished by the tornado of April 26.

On the way home we drove through some beautiful neighborhoods that seemed more like we were in the mountains than smack-dab in the middle of Omaha. Homes were surrounded with trees and tucked into the hills, and a campfire was burning somewhere.
