The day was dark and rainy, with a low charcoal-gray cloud cover. Many of my pictures were too blurry to post. All of them have been brightened and sharpened. Wouldn't you know, the day after we left Galveston, it was bright and sunny there.
We stopped at this grocery/department store for a few groceries.
We had never seen houses on such tall pilings before.
We stopped at this pretty little quilt shop in Sour Lake, Texas, and got a quilt kit for Sue, the lady from whom we bought the Bernina Artista 730. We also got three printed panels and a ceramic coaster with a quilt block printed on it.
