We went from Galveston Island to the Bolivar Peninsula, Texas, via the Robert H. Dedman Ferry, built in 1999, crossing the Inner Bar Channel between the Gulf of Mexico and Galveston Bay.  Look, you can see all of its details, including where it is and how fast it's going, right this very minute:
