Stella de Oro Lily and Unknown Ladybug

First bloom.  There are a lot of buds on the plants; soon there will be many blossoms.

I've looked high and low, and then I looked low and high, and I cannot find any ladybug that perfectly matches this one. Anybody know what it is? It's a little larger than the usual Asian ladybug.  It's similar to the Mexican Bean beetle, but those are usually a dirty yellow color, and this one is bright red-orange.
