Photos: ATV Ride Over Bachelor's Loop

This afternoon we took the Polaris RZR over Bachelor's Loop, a 17-mile drive through the historic mining district north of Creede.  Along the route, we passed mine locations from the 1890s and abandoned ghost towns that once rivaled Creede in size.  The drive took us 2.5 hours.

Ah! -- first wildlife of the excursion!

Wait... do those deer look two-dimensional to you?

There's the Mountain Views at River's Edge campground.  Our camper is in the nearest row, fourth from the left.

And there are the deer we saw when we left the campground, right where we left them! In fact, they haven't moved a muscle.

You know, those things look awfully transparent.
