Photos: "Cruisin' the Canyon" Creede Car Show, & Campground

This morning we went to see all the cars on display at the "Cruisin' the Canyon" Car Show in Creede, Colorado.  Afterwards, while Larry got things put back into the trailer and hitched it to the pickup, I walked around our campground, Mountains Views at River's Edge RV Park, taking pictures.  It's the nicest campground we've ever stayed in.

Larry is laughing at that big ol' bear claw sticking out the door.

This cute little terrier was in the back of a 1957 Chevy Bel Air. I took her picture... but she wasn’t looking at me. Her owner, in a nearby chair, said, “Smile for the camera, Candy!” and the doggy looked at me and wagged. So I offered the back of my hand for her to sniff, and she wagged again and carefully licked it with her little pink tongue.

Larry likes the Mustangs.  His first car was a 1965 Mustang.

Look!!! Someone escaped from the quilt show, farther up in the box canyon!

I seriously doubt if Larry is wondering how that huge winch works; he usually KNOWS how things work. No, he's doubtless wondering if he could build and install just such a monstrous piece on one of his trucks! heh

Heading back to the campground

There are many bronze sculptures all over the RV Park.

Cabins for rent

And... we're off on a new adventure!  Heading south to South Fork, this time.
