Larry, just leaving after lunch.
Here's his 'new' Suzuki, which he took in on trade from the man to whom he sold the six-wheeler.
And finally it's a nice enough day to ride it to work!
Odd melting-snow formations on the back deck.
The flowers in the laundry room are blooming away:
One of our neighbors gave me a couple of pots of pink and white cyclamen when we first moved out here, in 2003. I've repotted them twice now. They're still going strong. Here's the funny part of the story: he found them in the trash behind one of the local grocery stores, and they looked quite a lot the worse for wear. :-D
Cyclamen
African violet Dorcas gave me several years ago
Kalanchoe my former boss at Megavision, our local internet service provider, gave me for Secretary's Day. It was blooming when she gave it to me in 2005, and then it didn't bloom again for 7 years. But it's bloomed often for the last 4 years.
Each tiny blossom is smaller than my thumbnail.
Phalaenopsis orchid we gave to Janice several years ago. Loren gave it back to me, hoping I could nurse it back to health after he put it through alternate droughts and deluges. Some of the roots were coming back up out of the soil several inches; I told him it was screaming for help, like a drowning man with his arms sticking up out of the water.
Loren was surprised and pleased when the plant came back to life and then put up a stem of buds. It blossomed a couple of months ago -- and the blooms are still pretty.
